This perennial will reach about 3' high and has large, brownish/red leaves with pink flowers that bloom in the summer.

This clumping perennial iris relative stands 3'-4' high. It has light- yellow, iris-like flowers with maroon blotches that are about 2" wide. It performs best in full sun and in soil with good drainage.

Northern Sea Oats, Bamboo Grass

Botanical name:Chasmanthium latifolium

This perennial grass can reach 5' high and has leaves that are 8" in length. It produces green blooms that turn brown and appear from late spring and last until early fall. It produces dark red grain and does best in moist, shaded areas.

New Zealand Flax is an excellent accent plant for the garden. Evergreen leaves are long, narrow, and grow upright. Clusters of flowers grow on spikes above the foliage in late spring and summer. 'Rainbow Warrier' grows 3'-4' tall and 5'-6' wide. Leaves are darker salmon, turning cream as they age. Foliage turns deep red in winter.

Botanical name:Viola X wittrockiana

This annual will grow 6"-10" tall and 9"-12" wide. It has shiny green leaves with flowers that come in a wide variety of colors and are in constant bloom from fall to spring.
