Tree roses are actually shrubs that have been grafted or grown in a way that looks like a tree, ie with a trunk. Tree roses can be floribundas, hybrid teas, or grandifloras. They are typically used as specimen plants. Make sure the plant is tied to a stake in case of strong winds.

This variegated evergreen shrub or small tree has creamy margins on its grey-green leaves. In spring, clusters of small, cream-colored flowers appear with the fragrance of orange blossoms. Variegated Mock Orange is often used to brighten shaded areas.

Laurentia fluviatilis has bright green, nearly stemless, 1/4" leaves. In late spring and summer, these form a backdrop for equally tiny, star-shaped pale blue flowers.

This perennial will grow to about 3' tall and has dark chocolate colored leaves with purple flowers that bloom in spring and summer.

Botanical name:Phormium 'Yellow Wave'

This evergreen perennial is 3' high with clumping yellow-green variegation and weeping leaves.
