Description
Upright tree with weeping habit that can grow to 30' tall and wide. Blooms in spring with creamy-white flower clusters followed by long, narrow beans in summer. Native across the Southwest from Arizona to Texas, north into Kansas, and south into Mexico 1-4000'. Often a multi trunked large spreading crown. Foliage is larger and brighter green than other mesquites. Troubled by scale, mistletoe and rabbits.
