Description

Blue leaves, tall narrow trunk, spectacular summer display of cream white flowers. One of the most attractive tree yuccas. Forms trunk 10'. Young usually unbranched; older a few. Narrow blue leaves up to 2' long and .5" wide with sharp term spine. Prefers full sun or very light shade and rocky well drained soil. Susceptible to grubs. Should be treated w/ Diazinon 2x yearly. Chihuahuan desert canyons & rocky slopes Old leaves persist. Slow growing.

Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
