Description

This clumping, deciduous fern spreads slowly by rhizomes. Native to California and much of the U.S., it bears tall, lacy fronds to 6' in moist forest situations. It should be grown in part shade to shade with average to heavy watering. This is a frost hardy plant. -Monterey Bay Nursery

Water Saving Tip:

Change spray sprinklers to low-flow bubbler or drip systems. Shrubs and trees are ideal candidates for this type of irrigation because the water is applied directly to the root zones.
