Description
This agave is medium-sized and forms low clumps 3' tall x 4' wide. Striking blue-grey leaves are short & broad with intricate bud prints. Leaves are heavily toothed with dark brown teeth. It is native to Sonora, Mexico and is hardy to 15 degrees F. It is slow growing and does well in full sun and reflected heat exposures. It will also grow in coastal areas with good drainage. Protect from agave snout weevil. It looks great in pots or in the landscape, with bright yellow flowers.-Mountain States Nurs
